Economic Aspects of Improvement of Ecological and Economic Safety of Motor Transport
Belik I.S., Alikberova T.T., Krivorotov V.V.
Abstract
The article considers the environmental problems of the modern development of road transport under the conditions of the existing road transport infrastructure since an analysis of the situation revealed a steady increase in the number of vehicles with a low level of environmental and economic safety, which ultimately led to an increase in damage to the environment. Continuing to be one of the most significant sources of atmospheric air pollution, the motor industry will not be able to compete with other sectors in the future as modern estimates of the development potential of national sectors are based on the ratios of environmental services involved in production and production volumes obtained. As the experience of many developed countries shows, the problem of ensuring the environmental and economic safety of motor vehicles can be solved primarily on the basis of a combination of economic and administrative methods. The article discusses the economic tools for solving the problem of urban air pollution. One of the most appropriate areas is the replacement of motor vehicles with environmentally friendly ones, such as the electric car. To achieve the transition of traditional cars from internal combustion engines to modern electric vehicles is possible only by applying the best available technologies and borrowing the experience of foreign countries. Foreign experience shows that when creating an economic mechanism for managing environmental and economic safety, it is necessary to provide for the possibility of its integration into the general economic system so that it does not constitute a disparate set of measures and tools aimed at solving certain environmental problems. Therefore, the aim of the article was to analyze the foreign experience of creating and using economic mechanisms to stimulate the transition to environmentally friendly modes of transport, and the main task was to assess the potential of its application in domestic practice.
