Финансовое заражение рынков биржевых товаров от фондового рынка в период пандемического и новых санкционных шоков

Аннотация
В условиях финансовой глобализации наблюдается передача глобальной турбулентности между различными рынками, что увеличивает общую финансовую нестабильность. Целью исследования является идентификация финансового заражения рынка биржевых товаров от рынка фондовых активов в 20-х гг. XX в. Гипотеза исследования – заражение проявляется в период пандемических шоков 2020–2021 гг. и новых санкционных шоков 2022–2023 гг. На основе данных за 2016–2023 гг. о межсессионной среднедневной доходности глобального индекса S&P GLOBAL 100 и фьючерсов 22 биржевых товаров строятся DCC GARCH модели. Существенное увеличение динамических условных корреляций тестируемых пар биржевых товаров с биржевым индексом в период воздействия внешних шоков расценивается как потенциальное заражение. Окончательный вывод о наличии или отсутствии заражения делается на основе динамического теста Стьюдента о равенстве корреляций в дошоковом периоде и в скользящем окне внутри шокового и межшокового периодов. В результате проведенного исследования подтверждено разное по силе и продолжительности заражение рынков 22 биржевых товаров от фондового рынка как в период пандемического, так и новых санкционных шоков. Доказано, что наибольшему заражению в рассматриваемом периоде подвергся рынок металлов, особенно рынок золота. Медь и цинк оказались демпферами риска в период новых санкций. Среди продовольственных товаров наибольшую склонность к заражению продемонстрировал рынок сахара, однако в период относительной стабильности он доказал способность гасить системные риски. Ряд сельскохозяйственных товаров (например, соевые бобы и продукты из сои, кукуруза, пшеница), а также нефть марки Brent показали относительную устойчивость к заражению и рекомендованы как инструменты хеджирования. Результаты и выводы исследования могут быть полезными инвесторам при управлении оптимальными портфелями, а государству при корректировке антикризисной финансовой политики в период воздействия внешних шоков.
