Феномен возврат к среднему на рынках суверенных CDS и облигаций развитых стран: измерение долгосрочного влияния кризисов 2019–2022 годов на волатильность с использованием моделей GARCH и полураспада

Аннотация
Цель данного исследования – проверить, существует ли долгосрочное влияние внешних шоков 2019–2022 гг. на динамику волатильности суверенных облигаций и CDS на примере кризисов начала пандемии COVID-19 в 2020 г., резкого изменения монетарной политики ФРС и ЕЦБ в 2022 г. и мирового энергетического кризиса в 2021–2022 гг. Важной задачей в данном случае является измерение скорости возврата волатильности к своим средним значениям или скорости возврата к среднему. Для ее решения были выбраны рынки облигаций и CDS семи развитых стран за период с 6 января 2019 г. по 1 января 2023 г. Методология исследования включала одномерные ARMA-(E)GARCH-модели с эндогенными структурными разрывами и без них, а также измерение скорости возврата к средним значениям с помощью метрики half-life. Результаты показывают, что суверенные облигации и CDS развитых стран демонстрируют характеристики процесса возврата к среднему в уровне волатильности, при этом наблюдается ускорение динамики процесса после учета внешних шоков, что указывает на отсутствие долгосрочных эффектов кризисов. Этот вывод свидетельствует о том, что ценообразование на суверенные облигации и CDS не подчиняется гипотезе эффективного рынка. Иными словами, доходность и волатильность этих финансовых инструментов неизбежно приходят к своим долгосрочным историческим значениям, успешно поглощая внешние шоки, которые не оказывают долгосрочного влияния на процесс ценообразования. Реакция волатильности на внешние шоки в разных странах представляется однородной, что указывает на тесную интеграцию рынков суверенных CDS и облигаций.
