1. All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Applied Economic Research undergo obligatory peer review to evaluate the scientific quality and rigor of the reported research.
2. Initially, all submissions are examined in terms of their correspondence with the Journal’s Scope and formal criteria.
3. Journal of Applied Economic Research applies double-blind review of submitted manuscripts. This means that the identities of reviewers and authors are concealed from each other throughout the review process.
4. Reviewers are selected from among leading specialists in the field of the reviewed materials, those having significant publications in the field of applied economics.
5. A reviewer cannot be the author or co-author of the work under review. Manuscripts can be reviewed by the Journal’s Editorial Board members when their research interests coincide with the topic of the manuscript.

8. The publication decision is typically made within the period of three months from the submission of the manuscript.
9. The Editor forwards the results of the examination to the authors of the submitted manuscript.
10. In the case of an author disagreeing with the comments of the reviewer, his or her reasoned statement will be considered by the Editorial Board.
11. The final publication decision is made by the Editorial Board.
12. When the manuscript is accepted for publication, the Executive Editor informs the author(s) and specifies the publication date.
